About Us

The Pontiac Village Association is a Rhode Island non-profit, all volunteer organization founded in 1979. Its aim is to advocate for the neighborhood and improve the quality of life of all its citizens, and to preserve the unique characteristics of our Historic Pontiac Village. We work collaboratively and proactively alongside our residents and community representatives to solve issues that are important to our neighborhood, such as neighborhood safety and crime prevention, beautification, and social activities and events.

The Association meets monthly at the Train Station located at the Pontiac Village neighborhood park. The five-member board of directors, elected yearly in January, conduct the principal business of the Association.
